This course is designed to prepare students for employment within the Travel and Tourism Industry. Students will also gain a broad understanding of Travel Agency and Airline Operations.
This course includes a three week transnational exchange to a European country funded by Leargas.
IATA/UFTAA Level 1, Air Fares and Ticketing, Galileo computerised reservation System, Tourism Awareness, Customer Service,
Travel Agency Skills, Desk Top Publishing, Retail Selling, Communications, Work Experience, General Travel Knowledge and World Geography, Transnational Experience, Airline Studies.
Work Experience is an integral part of this course and students must obtain work experience for one day per week for the duration of the course.
