Colaiste Ide exchange programme featured in ‘2010 European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion’ Booklet

The Leonardo da Vinci National Agency held a Lifelong Learning Programme Conference on Wednesday 13th October 2010 in the National College of Ireland, Dublin for the launch of the booklet ‘2010 European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion’.
Léargas and the HEA as National Agencies in Ireland for the management of the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013 were involved in the launch.
The booklet was presented by Mr. Seán Haughey T.D., Minister of State, it included a presentation on the Lifelong Learning 2011 call, an insight into the European Commission’s new initiative ‘Youth on the Move’ and presentations from all projects showcased in the booklet. Colaiste Ide and its Hungarian exchange programme entitled "Pan European Training in Hotel and Catering" was just one of the articles showcased.
The European Union has joined forces with its Member States to make 2010 the European Year For Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion.
