RTE Seoige programme features Headway

Headway, the National Association for Acquired Brain injury, runs a unique programme at Coláiste Íde.

Louisa O’Neill and Niamh Rowe are Rehabilitation Training Officers on the Headway Programme run by Coláiste Íde CFE in Finglas. Headway, the National Association for Acquired Brain Injury, teaches people with brain injury such skills as computing, electronics, advocacy and brain injury awareness as part of a rehabilitation programme.

After hypnomagician Keith Barry was involved in a near fatal accident last year, he became an ambassador for the charity Headway. On 17th October RTEs Seoige programme broadcast a feature on Keith’s ambassadorial work with the charity. This involved a visit to Coláiste Íde to film a yoga class attended by students with acquired brain injury.  Picture shows Louise and Niamh preparing for the RTE visit.
