Café & Deli Service Skills with Barista Training at Ide Finglas is an innovative part-time course designed to give you the practical skills and confidence to succeed in the fast-paced hospitality industry. This hands-on programme offers real kitchen experience, barista training, and customer service skills, all guided by professional chefs.
Learners will train in a professional kitchen environment, learning essential cooking, baking, deli preparation, and coffee-making techniques. This programme is a great opportunity for anyone looking to become job-ready and step into employment in cafés, delis, restaurants, or hotels.
Equipment provided includes chef uniforms, access to professional kitchen tools, and learning materials.
BTEI (Back to Education Initiative) supports learners returning to education while maintaining their social welfare benefits.
Entry Requirements
- Applicants should be in receipt of a Social Protection payment (or a dependent), including those on CE or TUS schemes. Learners who do not meet this criteria may still apply (course fee of €50 applies)
- Individuals seeking a new career direction or retraining opportunity
All applicants will receive guidance and support from qualified tutors.
