Holistic Health Course (Full-Time)

The Holistic Health course at Ide Finglas is a full-time programme specially suited for those who want to pursue a career dedicated to improving people’s wellbeing. This programme is ideally suited for school leavers and mature students who are interested in supporting individuals and making a real difference in their communities.
Learners will gain a strong foundation in health and social care theory, combined with practical, hands-on experience. The programme takes place on site in Ide Finglas fully equipped healthcare training room and practical clinic. Our experienced teachers and specialist nurses bring real-world expertise into the classroom.
Learners will be required to complete work placements in a variety of community settings which will give valuable insights into community and holistic health services.

Duration
This is a full-time one-year course running from September to May.

Progression
Graduates can progress to higher education through the CAO or Higher Education Links Scheme, using their QQI Level 5 award. Entry is subject to meeting specific college requirements.
