Course Information
The aim of this course is to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and competence required to support children and adults with additional educational and care needs.
This course will cover the following topics:
- The role and responsibilities of the Special Needs Assistant.
- Understanding disability and inclusion.
- Supporting personal care and wellbeing.
- Working with teachers, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Promoting independence and participation.
- Relevant legislation and best practice.
