Learners are equipped with the knowledge, skills and competence to work independently and under supervision, providing business services and support in a range of business contexts and progression within Further Education or advancement to Higher Education studies. Learners are given a solid foundation in Business Studies with specialised knowledge in marketing and human resources.
Entry Requirements
In general you need to have a minimum of 5 passes at ordinary level in the Leaving Certificate (subjects must include English, and Mathematics or Accountancy) or its equivalent. Applications are welcome from students with Leaving Certificate Vocational, Leaving Certificate Applied or FETAC Level 4 qualifications. Exceptions can be made where special circumstances apply on a case by case basis. The Leaving Certificate is not a requirement for mature students and appropriate experience can be considered as meeting the entry requirement for most courses.

Students acquire a general qualification in business, which offers employment opportunities in diverse areas such as, finance, retail, marketing and human resources. Suitably qualified students may progress to study business at Technological Universities, including NCI or TUD.
