Course Information
The aim of this course is to develop practical kitchen skills and food preparation techniques required for employment in hospitality and catering environments.
This course will cover the following topics:
- Kitchen organisation and workflow.
- Food safety, hygiene and health regulations.
- Preparation and storage of food commodities.
- Basic cookery methods and techniques.
- Menu preparation and presentation.
- Waste reduction and efficient kitchen practices.
