Following application a letter will be issued to your home address. This letter may be used to apply for a visa to enable you visit Ireland for an interview.
If you are successful at interview a place will be offered. Fees must be paid in full before a letter is issued. This letter will be required to obtain a study visa.
Please Note: Applicants may have to leave the country before study visa is granted – check this out with the embassy before you travel.
A refund of fees will be made if you are denied a study visa. An administration charge will be deducted.
Coláiste Íde plays no part in acquiring visas for entry to Ireland. In order to study in this college it will be necessary for you to obtain a study visa or other relevant documentation. It is the responsibility of all overseas applicants to arrange their own study visa and documentation. Coláiste Íde does not have student accommodation – it is the responsibility of each student to locate their own accommodation.
Foreign students residing in Ireland
Please bring the following to interview:
- GNIB Card
- Letter from the Department of Justice Equality and Law Reform outlining your permission to remain in the state
- Passport / Marriage Certificate, etc.
Coláiste Íde endeavours to provide the best educational experience possible for its students. To determine if language supports are necessary, all applicants, whose first language is not English, will be given a short English test at interview.
