The Beauty Therapy Traineeship offers a unique opportunity to gain recognised industry qualifications while developing practical skills in both a college and salon setting. This work-based learning programme combines professional training at FET College Íde Finglas with hands-on experience in a participating beauty salon, providing learners with valuable industry exposure and workplace experience.

Learners attend FET College Íde Finglas three days per week and complete two days of structured workplace training in a beauty salon. Throughout the programme, participants work towards an iTEC Beauty Specialist International Qualification together with QQI Level 5 Component Certification, preparing them for employment within the beauty, wellness, and spa sectors.

This programme is suitable for individuals currently in receipt of a Jobseeker's payment who are committed to developing a career in the beauty industry. The traineeship commences in September and is provided at no cost to eligible participants.

Applications from mature learners are also warmly welcomed. Whether you are entering the workforce for the first time, returning to education, or seeking a new career direction, this traineeship provides an excellent pathway into a growing and rewarding profession.
