Course Information
The aim of this course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skills and competence to provide care support in a range of healthcare and community care settings while promoting the wellbeing, independence and dignity of service users.
This course will cover the following topics:
- The role of the care support worker.
- Communication in care settings.
- Supporting personal care and daily living activities.
- Health, safety and infection prevention procedures.
- Promoting independence and person-centred care.
- Working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
