Course Information
The aim of the course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skills and competence to meet the full and holistic needs of older people in a variety of care contexts and to develop an awareness of the increasing needs of older people in the community today.
This course will cover the following topics:
- The ageing process and its impact on the Older Person.
- Working and Communicating with the Older Person.
- Caring for the Older Person with specific needs.
- The importance of Quality Assured Care Setting for the Older Person
