Our hands-on and practical course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed to work in the dynamic and developing Horticulture sector. Students will study areas such as Plant Identification, Plant Science, Soil Management and Fruit & Veg Production. Students on this course are assisted with work experience placements.

How will I learn? How will I be assessed?
You will have a mixture of classroom-based subjects, practicals and work placements. You will be expected to complete assignments throughout the year and exams for some modules will take place at the end of the year.

We also welcome applications from mature students on all our courses.

There are approximately forty Higher Education Institutions including Universities, Technological Universities and private colleges offering places on a range of courses to QQI full award certificate holders.
