Catex Exhibition
Over the February Midterm break, the catering students visited the Catex Exhibition at the RDS where suppliers and chefs meet annually to discuss innovations within the industry and competitions are held between various colleges and professionals. In the past, our students have competed and achieved awards of varying degrees and we are hoping to compete again next year. This competition represented the World Association of Cooks Societies (WACS). It was a great day and the students got to see the high standards expected to perform in the industry and are already coming up with ideas for competition entries in the future.
